How to Become a Member

The election of New Members to The Society
The election of members follows certain guidelines. First, applicants have to have had their work exhibited by the Society in two separate years - the Society holds an annual exhibition of their members' work, together with selected exhibits from members of the general public, once a year in a London gallery (usually in May). All work submitted for this exhibition undergoes a selection process by the Society's Council. Secondly, candidates must then be proposed and seconded by existing Members. Finally, the Council will then assess any application for membership and come to a decision. Entry details for the annual exhibition are given on the Annual Open Exhibition page on this website.
