Beyond Likeness
by Poppy Field
How can sculpture move beyond likeness to capture beauty, presence, and soul?

Poppy Field charts her journey from training at The Courtauld and The Florence
Academy of Art, to her practice spanning studio works, portraiture, and public
monuments, including sculptures of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip for the
Royal Albert Hall. She is also co-author, with Robert Bodem, of Drawing in Space:
Theory and Practice of Figurative Sculpture.
