Mark is a musician and professional artist’s model.  I had engaged him to sit for a portrait class in March 2018 but due to the big freeze, only Mark and I made it to the studio. Luckily, he had bought his bass guitar with him and we spent a magical two days snowed in – Mark ‘noodling’ on his guitar while I modelled him in terracotta.
