About
Leslie Godschall Johnson is acclaimed as one of the finest figurative sculptors of his generation. He was born in Australia and studied fine art in Sydney and Melbourne before coming to Britain. Here he specialised in sculpture under Michael Marriot FRSS at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London. He honed his knowledge of the human form by studying under Professor John Pegington at the Department of Anatomy, University College London.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
Whatever the project, public, corporate or private he combines aesthetic flair and creativity with a consummate skill and eye for detail that is increasingly rare in sculpture today.
His work is concerned with the design, planning and creation of public, corporate and domestic sculpture on any scale. Commissions executed in any part of the world. Scale models and plans produced.
