Henry’s course – Saturday, 18th April 2026, 2-4pm, cost £30 per head, 16yrs and above, 10 people maximum (photo attached from Henry’s class)

Join us for a fun, 2-hour drawing workshop at the FACE2026 Exhibition, designed for entry-level and amateur sculptors.

In this hands-on session, we’ll explore artistic interpretation and expression by looking at how different artists approach their work in the exhibition—and how you can translate that inspiration into your own practice. With guidance and practical tips, including the Anchor Drawing technique, you’ll experiment with a range of styles and methods to develop your own way of seeing through drawing.

After the session, we’ll come together to share ideas and discuss what drives each sculptor’s curiosity—whether it’s materials, style, or the process of creating portrait busts. It’s a relaxed, creative, and interactive opportunity. Students will get an insight into activate drawing techniques and a method to understand how they can take inspiration from the sculpture. Materials will be provided; however we recommend that you bring your own sketch book.
