A portrait sculpture of my son, which I make every three years.  The fourth work is a wood carving.  Children have a world of children.  Scenery sounds and colours that adults cannot see.  The Keyaki (Zelkova) is a beautiful Japanese tree that is hard and has a clear grain.  I want such a person to grow up.
